Meet Instructor Z

Instructor Z is an internationally recognized police & corrections trainer, he is a 20+ year law enforcement veteran, and a published writer.

He is a Below 100 Core Instructor and a Texas Master Peace Officer serving full time as the Training Coordinator and Lead Instructor for a State Law Enforcement Training Center in Edinburg, TX. 

Z has been qualified in State & Federal Court as a Subject Matter Expert in Police Use of Force, Defensive Tactics, Crisis Intervention, and Risk Management. Z is a Certified Force Science Analyst and an active member of the International Law Enforcement Educators & Trainers Association.

Z has served as a contract trainer for the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training, and the US Department of State, assigned to conducting specialized training for police officials in has Mexico & other Latin American countries. 

Additionally to his role as a law enforcement officer and trainer,  Z is a K9 trainer and a successful business entrepreneur operating "Pinnacle K9 Dog Training" and "Z's Tactical Innovations", the online retailer of the Plainclothes Identifying Gauntlet, also known as the "PIG zleeve."  A life saving tool developed and patented by Instructor Z and used by Plainclothes officers, off-duty cops and legally armed civilians.
