Meet Instructor Z

Antonio Zarzoza, also known as "Instructor Z,"   is an internationally recognized police and corrections trainer with over two   decades of law enforcement experience. As the Training Coordinator and Lead   Instructor at a prestigious university's police training center in Texas,   Antonio trains hundreds of local, state, and federal officers year-round. He   is also an expert witness in police use of force, crisis intervention, and   training practices for both state and federal courts.  In addition to his law enforcement work, Antonio trains   corporate trainers for Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and Mexico, helping   them apply the same principles of engagement and impact that he brings to his   police training sessions, making their programs more effective and memorable.  Antonio is a certified instructor, both nationally and   internationally, through the International Association of Directors of Law   Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST). He is a staff instructor with the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) and has served as a contract trainer for the U.S. government, providing   specialized instruction to officers in Mexico and other Latin American countries.  As a leader in training design, Antonio has helped revamp   programs for the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. He leads Instructor Z   & Associates International, a firm that provides training, consulting,   and design services to police and corrections agencies in the U.S. and abroad.  Antonio's insights on police procedures, officer safety,   and training design have been featured in prominent law enforcement   magazines, websites, and journals.
